Pinot Grigio, Carlo Damiani, Veneto (Italy)
This has some of the freshness of a Sauvignon Blanc and the body of a Chardonnay. This one is clean and fresh with scents of peaches and apricots.

Domaine de la Ferrandiere Sauvignon Blanc (France)

Siegel Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon (Chile)
Ruby red in appearance, full-bodied, elegant and blackcurranty with just a touch of vanilla hovering in the background.

Aldridge Estate Shiraz (Australia)
Nicely-balanced fruity flavours of blackberry and blackcurrant, wrapped up in gentle notes of vanilla. Not too heavy; not to light.

Baron de Ley Rioja Club Privado (Spain)
Intense ruby red in colour with aromas of strawberry and vanilla, it has bucket-loads of juicy fruit on the palate. Universal appeal.

Domaine de la Ferrandiere Merlot (France)
Smooth, soft and fruity with those plumy, spicy flavours that are typical of the Merlot grape.

White

J Lohr Riverstone Chardonnay, (California)
Surprisingly subtle flavours of white peach & honeydew melon, supported by a toasty, roast hazelnut character that comes from the oak barrels.

Lafont Menaut Blanc, Bordeaux (France)
Soft and creamy in the mouth with just a delicate scent of vanilla from its ageing in oak barrels. A classy wine with a long, lingering flavour.
Red

Baron de Ley Rioja Reserva (Spain)
A modern style of fruit-driven Rioja with ripe fruit flavours nicely seasoned with American oak, Strawberry and cedar-Scented, it has a long, elegant finish.

Chateau I’Annonciation, St Emillion Grand Cru (France)
A Full Bodied Soft and Smooth Wine With Lots of Plum and Damson-Flavoured Fruit, Typical of the Merlot Grape.

J Lohr Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon, (California)
A deep red-purple in colour, it has rich, ripe aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry and cherry overlaid with toasty notes and a touch of vanilla from the oak ageing. It has surprisingly gentle tannins and a soft finish.

Lafont Menaut Rouge, Bordeaux (France)
This proves that Claret at this price doesn't have to be hard and tannic. It is soft, fine, fruity and gently seasoned with vanilla from ageing in oak barrels.

 

White Wine

Chablis, Domaine Charly Nicolle 2011 (France)
A small Chablis estate now owned by the famous Jean Barc Brocard. Like all of his wines it has a wonderfully pure minerally flavour and it’s made without oak.

Sancerre, Philippe Raimbault (France)
A fantastically intense and powerful Sancerre with great weight and richness, a complex palate of pink grapefruit and pineapple and a flavour that goes on forever.

Baron de Ley white Rioja (Spain)
This is a clean-tasting, fresh and appealing white wine with flavours of lemon, red apples and even a touch of melon.

Madfish, Chardonnay (Australia)
The palate is crisp and bright with an initial burst of honeydew melon and citrus fruit. The finish is long clean grapefruit flavours with crystalline acidity.

 

Red Wine

Domaine Lafond Cotes du Rhone (France)
Strawberry and cherry jam aromas on the nose, stewed fruits on the palate and a super tongue-tinglingly fresh summer Berry flavour to finish. Rhone valley.

Domaine Robert Fleurie Rouge (France)
Beaujolais with a difference. Full of rich of dark-berried fruits, it is nonetheless just medium-bodied as Beaujolais should be.

Simon Hackett Shiraz (Australia)
A dense, smooth and complex reserve wine made 100% from low-yielding Shiraz vines. Rich bramble-fruit flavours are complemented by ageing in French and Amerivan oak barrels that give delicate creamy vanilla overtones.

Siete Cuchillos Malbec (Argentina)
Deep violet in colour, with a rich ripe blackberry fruit aroma, this is a wine that could only be made under constant sunshine.

Bortolotti Prosecco Spumante (Italy)
Prosecco Spumante is a frilly-sparkling wine made in northern Italy. It is a fresh, fruity, aromatic wine that has a floral fragrance, is soft on the palate and leaves a nice aromatic aftertaste.

Didier Chopin Champagne Brut (France)
A fine and elegant champagne with aromas of peach and honeysuckle, leading to the richer, biscuity flavours of good Champagne. Extra ageing gives more complexity.

Veuve Clicquot Champagne (France)
Intense medium to full-bodied with acacia blossom and honey aromas. The palate is dry & crisp with that Fruity, nutty, biscuit flavours you expect from good Champagne.
